TRIO Student Support Services

TRIO Student Support Services (SSS) is a program that helps first-generation, income-eligible students graduate and transfer to a 4-year college or university to pursue a bachelor’s degree. TRIO SSS provides personalized advising and mentoring in the areas of degree planning, academics, transferring, career and major exploration, financial aid, scholarships and financial literacy. It also offers a peer mentoring program, fun events and personal support. The TRIO SSS program is 100% funded by a grant from the U.S. Department of Education ($261,888 in 2021-22) and has limited spaces available, so an application is required and students must meet certain eligibility criteria to join.
