The Library supplies a wide variety of traditional and innovative materials and services necessary to support instructional programs. The Library subscribes to web-based research databases. The collection of books, CDs and DVDs totals more than 39,000 volumes. In addition, the Library has an extensive interlibrary loan program through which materials may be borrowed. MakerSpace
Located in the Library, the MakerSpace is a room dedicated to creating, building, and idea generating through the use of technology. It includes a laser printer and silhouette printer that are free to use as well as a 3D printer that costs $2 plus an additional 10 cents per gram (students have a $25 credit each semester for 3D printing). The MakerSpace also has poster and craft supplies, making it an ideal space to do projects or group work.
One-Button Studio
Located near the Library in Room E246, the One-Button Studio is an area for students, faculty and staff to easily record video and/or audio. With the push of a single button, recorded content can be stored on a flash drive in MP3 and MP4 format. Options in the studio include a green screen, Apple TV, projector and teleprompter. The One-Button Studio can be reserved in 30-minute blocks through mySandburg or by calling 309.341.5438.
