AUT 253 - Automotive Drivetrain Systems Credit(s): 3 Lecture Hours: 2 Lab Hours: 2
This course provides students with comprehensive understanding of essential components and operations within automotive drivetrains, including front and rear drive axles, manual transmissions and clutch assemblies, driveshaft and u-joints, and 4-wheel drive systems. Students will develop the skills necessary to diagnose, maintain, and repair drivetrain systems effectively. Applicable toward graduation at CSC where program structure permits: Degree or Certificate: AAS, AGS, or Certificates where applicable (1.2)
