AUT 119 - Precision Measuring Instruments

This course is designed to introduce students to various precision measuring equipment used in the automotive service industry. Students will learn to obtain accurate measurements using industry standard measuring equipment, as well as perform field calibrations and basic required maintenance on several different types of measuring equipment. Tools and equipment will be used to measure and inspect several different types of automotive components.
