AUT 264 - Introduction to Hybrid and Electric Vehicles Credit(s): 2 Lecture Hours: 1.5 Lab Hours: 0.5
This course provides students with a thorough introduction to the world of hybrid and electric vehicles, covering a wide range of topics including safety protocols, electrical fundamentals, service and maintenance procedures, battery and motor technologies, high voltage control systems, operational aspects, and emerging alternative fuels and technologies. Through lectures and hands-on practical exercises, students will develop the knowledge and skills necessary to understand and maintain hybrid and electric vehicles. Applicable toward graduation at Sandburg where program structure permits: Degree or Certificate: AAS, AGS, and Certificates where applicable (1.2)
