AUT 115 - Automotive Battery, Starting and Charging Credit(s): 2 Lecture Hours: 1.5 Lab Hours: 1
This course is designed to emphasize the study of automotive battery, starting, and charging diagnostics, jump-starting tools, and service equipment. Topics include automotive battery charging, jump-starting and battery testing equipment and the safety measures associated with these procedures. Labs will include removal, inspection, and installation of automotive batteries, charging system components and starters. Applicable toward graduation at CSC where program structure permits: Degree or Certificate: Automotive Technology Certificate (1.2)
