The certificate program provides generalized knowledge of electrical, welding, and manufacturing and industrial processes giving the program graduates knowledge and skill to be general maintenance workers in a variety of industrial, manufacturing, utilities, telecommunications, and transportation settings.
The certificate is the first semester for the Industrial Maintenance A.A.S. degree.
Basic Industrial Maintenance Certificate program learning outcomes
Upon completion of the program, graduates will be able to:
- Demonstrate compliance with industry safety and OSHA standards.
- Apply electrical measurement and safety procedures in industrial environments.
- Solve technical mathematics problems for industrial applications.
- Apply safe welding practices.
- Analyze equipment to determine welding repair methods.
- Demonstrate foundational manufacturing skills.
