ENG 260 - Children’s Literature Credit(s): 3 Lecture/Lab Contact Hours: 3, 0
This course focuses on the scholarly study of literature for children and young adults. Students will learn to critically read and analyze texts such as fables, fairy tales, nursery rhymes, picture books, novels, and graphic novels. Course content is particularly relevant to teachers, librarians, publishers, booksellers, creative writers, and child psychologists. Applicable toward graduation at Sandburg where program structure permits: Degree or Certificate: AA, AS, AFA, AAS, AGS and Certificates where applicable (1.1)
