ESL 081 - Academic Text Analysis

This course is designed to give students extensive practice reading across the disciplines. It continues to increase the length of complexity of reading required of students both inside and outside of class. Particular attention is paid to note-taking and other reading strategies. Students are required to respond to readings using multiple sources and avoiding plagiarism. They are particularly encouraged to develop and assess personal learning goals.
