PHL 103 - Biomedical Ethics Credit(s): 3 Lecture Hours: 3 Lab Hours: 0
This course introduces the student to biomedical ethics. Students will gain a beginning foundation for analysis as related to biomedical ethical dilemmas. Apply classical ethical theories to related topics and issues, utilize basic principles of health care ethics to discuss bio-medical ethical topics and current issues and examination of bio-medical ethical issues using a problem-solving approach. Applicable toward graduation at Sandburg where program structure permits: Degree or Certificate - AA, AS, AAS, AGS and Certificates where applicable. (1.1)
