This course is an overview of pharmacology and its medications as it pertains to allied health professions. Topics will include principles of drug administration and basic mathematics involved in drug calculations. Throughout the course, the commonly used medications within allied health professions will be explored. This course is intended for students intending to enter an Allied Health program. Applicable toward graduation at Sandburg where program structure permits: Degree or Certificate: AAS, AGS, and Certificates where applicable (1.2)
