DHG 219 - Periodontology 2 Credit(s): 2 Lecture/Lab Contact Hours: 2, 0
This course focuses on surgical aspects of periodontology. The student will develop basic knowledge on the role of occlusion in periodontal health and disease, principles of periodontal surgery, management of soft tissue, dental implants, implant maintenance, and periodontal emergencies. Applicable toward graduation at Sandburg where program structure permits: Degree or Certificate: AAS, AGS, and Certificates where applicable (1.2)
